What TCG Guilds is

TCG Guilds is a mobile app (with a web companion) for tracking a Magic: The Gathering collection, understanding what your decks need, and sharing chosen parts of your collection with groups you join (“guilds”). This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a display handle you choose.
• Collection and deck data: the cards, quantities, locations, decks, and wants you enter. This is the product — it exists so the app can show it back to you.
• Voice recordings: if you log cards by voice, the audio clip is sent to a transcription service to turn it into card names, then used only for that purpose. Voice logging is optional.
• Photos: if you capture binder pages or loose cards, the images are stored so you can resolve them into collection entries later.
• Usage and diagnostics: basic product analytics (which features are used) and crash/error reports, so we can fix what breaks.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show your collection to anyone unless you choose to share it.
• We do not process payments — the beta is free and holds no payment data.

Sharing controls

Every item you log is private by default. Per item, you can share visibility with a guild you have joined, or make it public. You can change or withdraw visibility at any time. Guild membership itself requires your explicit action to join and is revocable by leaving the guild.

Service providers

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — web hosting.
• OpenAI — speech-to-text for optional voice logging.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting.
• Apple TestFlight— beta distribution (Apple’s own privacy terms apply to TestFlight itself).
• Scryfall — card names, data, and images shown in the app are provided by Scryfall.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from the Account screen in the app or on the web — in-app deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also request an export or full deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing support@tcgguilds.com; deletion via email is completed within 30 days.

Beta software

TCG Guilds is in beta. We take care with your data, but beta software changes quickly — export options exist so your collection is never locked in.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the policy changes and adjust the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
